La Víctor is a docufiction produced by Minoria Absoluta and TVC-Televisió de Catalunya. The actor Míriam Iscla is asked to play the part of Víctor Català, about whom she only knows that she was a woman and a writer. To get information to help her flesh out the character, she sets off on a journey that will see her interviewing the people who best know the thought and work of the writer from the Empordà region of Catalonia.
In this way the documentary will reconstruct the enigmatic character of a woman, Caterina Albert, who had to hide behind a man’s name, Víctor Català. She was a pioneer who, perhaps without realising it, forged a path for all women wanting to follow a career.
