The RAC1 radio programme Minoria Absoluta was first broadcast in May 2000. First it was aired at weekends but quickly became a daily programme running from Monday to Friday. Minoria Absoluta takes a humorous, side-ways look at the political news. It is where characters such as Maragall, Prince Felipe, Clos, and ZP by Queco Novell, Franco and Lluís Llach by Manel Lucas, and Bono, James Steward, Gimferrer and Rahola by Cesc Casanvas, to name but a few, first appeared.
Minoria Absoluta was awarded the 2006 Ondas Prize for best radio programme.
Irreverent conversation, talking at cross purposes, out-of-the-ordinary interviews… This is what the big names from today’s political, social and cultural scene can expect when they appear on theEls Minoristes slot in the programme El matí de Catalunya Ràdio. Monday to Friday, 11.45 am to 12 noon.
